Officials release final update on Jurisdictional Trial

Glenview, Illinois — Officials of the Jurisdictional Trial in which Bishop Minerva Carcaño is Respondent have released final information regarding the forthcoming proceedings. The trial will begin on Tuesday, September 19 at 9am CT, with subsequent days starting at 8am CT, and is expected to proceed through Friday, September 22.

To allow for full transparency, the trial will be accessible via a livestream. Online observers will need to complete a terms of use form* at: https://forms.gle/UnuosBem4UbzqcBx9. Upon accepting the terms, the livestream will be accessible for each individual session. This process will need to be completed for each court time - morning, afternoon and evening as applicable.

The trial will take place at 1901 Chestnut, Glenview, Illinois. Registration for entry to the secured building is required. Trial officials are limiting on site presence to those directly associated with the trial or to individuals who have registered and been approved as official visitors. As such, groups may not form and congregate on property. Complimentary parking is available in the building lot as space allows.

People wishing to attend the trial in person should email [email protected] to start the registration process. The Registrar will provide a form for completion and guidelines that have been approved by the Presiding Officer and host location staff. Credentialed media interested in attending may submit a press pass request via the official online form. Photography, outside of the official production crew, is strictly prohibited during the trial by all in attendance. Registered guests will also be provided with a discounted lodging option.
