Morning Study
Tuesdays, 9:30-10:30 a.m.
Drop off the kids at school, grab a cup of coffee, and come join a fun group of people as we explore faith-based readings. Each week we gather having read a few pages in preparation and join in discussion of the questions and ideas presented. The group re-forms with each study. Child care is available if arranged in advance. Please talk with Pastor Scott.
Sharing Life's Lessons
Tuesdays, 7:00 p.m.
Join Bob Hamlin for Bible study. It's a relaxed atmosphere of people who want to grow in their Christian life while stimulating their hearts and minds in the life of faith. There is no preparation and you can join at any time.
Confirmation Class
Wednesdays, 5:30 p.m.
In the United Methodist Church, Confirmation explores the history of the Christian faith and helps young people discover for themselves their own relationship with God. Together we come to find that all Christians are in the process of growing closer to God; none of us live fully the Christian life, but by Jesus' life, death, and example we are shown the way. Confirmation is intended for youth in 6th through 8th grade. Those above the 8th grade are asked to speak with the pastor about their participation. The four gatherings will each last 2 hours. Participants will make dinner together, gather around a common table, and have lots of space for a variety of learning activities. Following completion, those who participated will come into membership in the church.
Listening for God Reading Group
Thursdays, 1:00 p.m.
The group comes together to share where God has been heard in the selected reading. Join us as we read listening for God's voice together.
Women's Bible Study: "Living a Life of Balance"
Sundays, 9:15 a.m.
Many of us yearn for balance in our lives. That precise alignment which will leave all our daily responsibilities in perfect harmony. As Christians we aren't just balancing our household schedules with work, diet, rest and exercise, we must also consider the spiritual balance of our lives. How are we handling the balance between faith and sight, between love and obedience, between longing and contentment? Only God can guide us toward that balance we desire, and it starts with our hearts. Led by Janet Snowden in Room 9.
Men's Sunday Morning Group
Sundays, 9:00 a.m.
Life isn't for wimps. Responsibilities at work and at home, relationships with your parents, family, and that important person in our life...all can be a challenge. We need a space where we can talk, listen and hopefully come away with something to think about. Sunday mornings this fall, guys are meeting at Bigby's Coffee on Ludington Street. The first cup is on Pastor Scott!
Senior High Group
Sundays, 9:15 a.m.
Join Bron Harmon in the Chapel for open discussions about teen topics. Sometimes Bron treats to breakfast!
Middle School Group (6th - 8th grade)

Stewardship opportunities outside of Sunday School are offered throughout the year, including leaf-raking in the fall. Teachers this year are Katie Brewer-Berres and Cat Lindberg with Connie Duchaine, Arleen Martin and Deanna Robinette as guest teachers.
